Volleyball Video: Practice Updates

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Mizzou volleyball team, which returns five of six starters from the 2009 team that tallied 18 wins, opened its official practice schedule on Monday with the start of two-a-days. The Tigers began practice at 9:30 a.m. Monday and worked on several drills, including serve and pass and ball handling exercises. The team returned to the floor in the afternoon for some scrimmages as well.

Prior to the morning practice, the Mizzou coaching staff unveiled Mizzou volleyball's new team room. The room features a sitting area with leather couches and a flat screen television with a complete surround sound system. It also has places for the Tigers to study and complete their homework along with plenty of Mizzou signage.

MUTigers.com caught up with seniors Caitlyn Vann (Muncie, Ind.) and Catie Wilson (Omaha, Neb.) after practice to talk about the first day of practice. Click here to watch the video with Vann or click here to watch the video with Wilson. Both links are also available at the top of the page.
